Axiom Space are building the first, and only, commercial space station. It is designed to be the replacement for the International Space Station (ISS) when it retires late this decade, with so much more. Already Axiom are in training to send their first crew of private astronauts up to the ISS in January next year - the first fully private crew to ever go to a space station. This will start a program of launching missions twice a year (or more) to space. Simon will be talking about the space station, the missions, and how these crews are changing the future of humanity by developing cutting edge research that will improve life both on Earth, and in space as we stretch ever forwards into our solar system.
